The Contract of Life Maintenance of a Dependent: the Characteristic and Prospects of Development in Russia

The research is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the contract of life maintenance of a dependent as a civil law institution, its individual characteristics and prospects for further development in Russia. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, including 6 paragraphs, conclusion and list of references. In the introduction, the relevance of the chosen topic is justified, the purpose and objectives of the research are formulated, its object, subject, theoretical and practical significance are indicated. In the first chapter, the concept of the contract of life maintenance of a dependent is revealed, its legal nature and main elements are examined, and their gradual development is analyzed. The second chapter is devoted to a detailed study of the content of the contract of life maintenance of a dependent and the responsibility of the parties for violation of its terms, taking into account the current practice of the courts. The third chapter analyzes a number of current theoretical and practical problems related to the application of legislation on the contract of life maintenance of a dependent, as well as certain prospects for its further development in modern Russian civil law. The conclusion presents the main findings and proposals aimed at improving the legal regulation of the contract of life maintenance of a dependent, increasing its demand in society.
