THE COOL JAPAN Project in the Cultural Policy of Japan

The work is dedicated to the "soft power" of Japan and the mechanism for its implementation through the state project "Cool Japan". For this purpose, the general mechanisms of Japanese “soft power”, the influence of the occupation period on the formation of the modern Japanese cultural industry, and the influence of Japanese cultural diplomacy in Russia were studied.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree.
