Rogova Maria Andreevna on the topic: " Problems of Translation of Logistics Terms from English to the Russian Language" The relevance of the chosen topic is due to a number of reasons. First of all, changes in the logistics system affect the change of its terminology, because each system of terms depends on the sphere of knowledge to which it belongs. Moreover, in the process of logistics development, terms become outdated and new terms appear. To update the terminology of the Russian language, you need to define the method of translation of the term. The purpose of the work is to determine the problems of translation of terms, namely, which method of translation of terms prevails in modern dictionaries on logistics. The research work consists of an introduction, four chapters, conclusion, and list of references. The thesis consists of 52 pages, which contains a table with terms and classification of terms. The first Chapter is devoted to terms and problems of their translation. The theoretical part describes the main concepts, characteristic features of terms, and methods for translating equivalent and non-equivalent vocabulary. The second Chapter deals with logistics and its development and describes the English and Russian terminology of logistics. This part describes main characteristics of term systems. The third Chapter analyzes logistics terms and describes various sources of information collection that were used in the study. The table in this Chapter contains names of the sources used, English terms, Russian equivalents of the term, and the translation method. Then the terms in the table were categorized in accordance with types of logistics to which they belong. The fourth part of the thesis describes the results of the research. The percentage of translation methods used in modern logistics dictionaries was calculated. The conclusion shows the results of the experiment conducted in the final qualifying work.
