Intercultural Interaction in the Renaissance Mediterranean Region (on the Example of the Cultural Heritage of Florence)

This paper touches upon the problem of intercultural interaction in the context of retrospective research. Given work focuses specifically on the cultural heritage of Florence, that was created in a period of Renaissance, and the problem of studying intercultural interactions. The main aim of this research is to determine the role and nature of intercultural interactions in the Renaissance Mediterranean Region in the process of creating of cultural heritage in a city of Florence and its influence on the culture of countries in the Mediterranean region. This work will also concern the influence of linguacultural aspects and philological practices of the Renaissance Florentine culture on cultures of the other countries of the region. This study is mostly based on qualitative data analysis. Some examples of the quantitative analysis to provide historical data are also presented. This is a non-experimental paper: research is based on the analysis-synthesis, comparative, and inductive theoretical methods. The expected results of this study are supposed to show that there was an interaction between Florentine culture and cultures of other countries of the region that led to culture synthesis which triggered and formed the cultural development in a given historical period in the Mediterranean region.
