The study investigates the existing trade relations between the EEA and Singapore, which signed the agreement on the establishment of the FTA in 2019. This paper identifies the main factors affecting the GDP of the participating countries and indicates potential areas for cooperation. Currently, there is an increasing tendency to conclude agreements between countries on the creation of free trade zones (especially such kinds as FTA+, which also includes services and investment). The results revealed that the EEU, by concluding the FTA agreement with the Republic of Singapore, has taken an important step towards cooperation with the ASEAN countries and entering the Asian markets. Keywords: free trade agreement, EEU, Singapore, trade in goods, services market, investment cooperation.
