The Comparative Analysis of Conditions of Investment Activity Realization by Italian Companies in Russia and in the EU

For the last several years the outflow of investments by Italian enterprises has experienced a considerable increase due to the political and economic events. Despite the fact that nowadays less than 4 out of 10 companies in Italy invest significantly abroad, there can be observed an upward trend regarding. However, while firms place funds in the global financial market in order to carry out the internationalization process, there is the tendency to rising degree of geographical diversification of investments with various principles taken into consideration. This study aims at defining factors and conditions which have a crucial impact on FDI of Italian firms in Russian Federation and European Union. To identify these principles of funds localization quantitative and qualitative methods will be applied, including statistical model. This study will benefit already existing research regarding investment environment and its advantages in Russia and in the EU.
