The dynamic development of innovative technologies, as well as the increasing role of Informatization in the world economy, contributes to a significant change in the business models of companies in all industries. Car companies were among the first to transform business models by implementing new technologies. As an example of a company that actively uses innovations in its business processes, this paper considers the Volkswagen group. The specifics of the development and expansion of new technologies have led to significant changes in the company's business model. The paper is devoted to the study of the impact of new technologies on the business model of the Concern, which is one of the leading automakers on the global arena and which determines path of development of the automotive market. In this research the concept of transformation of the current business model of the company, which can also become the basis for making important administrative decisions by the management of automobile companies, was defined.
