This study is carried out with the aim of familiarization with methods of evaluating and analyzing the results of investment in information technologies. As part of the research, both statistical methods (event study, Chow Test, construction of regression models) and financial and economic methods (assessment of Net present value, internal rate of return, payback ratio) will be used. The work provides the results of effectiveness evaluation of investing in information technologies from position of private investor, companies and financial markets.
