The object of this work is the change management approach in the cross-border venture capital funds. The subject of this work is the transformational leadership as a tool of change management in the Virgin Group, The paper has the following goals: • To determine the effectiveness of transformational leadership on diverse cultural group members of an organization. • To explore the impact of team longevity on transformational leadership. • To determine the impact of transformational leadership on employee productivity in an organization. The paper has the following tasks: • To form the theoretical basis of leadership style choice for a cross-border venture • To analyze the financial performance of the Virgin Group • To evaluate the effect of the chosen leadership style on the company’s performance The research question is: What is the impact of transformational leadership as a tool of change management in cross-border venture firms? The theoretical and methodological basis of the research includes the mediating HRM practices, learning, and innovation. The information base of the research is information and analytical materials and scientific, methodical developments, financial reports of Virgin Group, monographs, scientific articles, and personal studies of the author. The scientific novelty of the research is that this study focuses on finding gaps revealed by previous studies and also adds three important and essential contributions. The first practical contribution of this study is that it makes best understanding about transformational leadership which enhance a system of series of HRM practices. These series of practices of HRM mediate the relationship between performance and learning capabilities through radical and incremental innovation. The second contribution is that the result of this study shows that learning capabilities can be held for innovation of products and services. At the end, this study also suggests that organizational learning and innovation always mediate the relationship between Human resource management practices and the firm performance. Additionally, there are some other studies that partially analyzed these all relationships in industry of Spain. Hence, it is required now to establish an empirical relationship and link between organizational performance and transformational leadership. The recommendations developed in the paper can be used for the other companies. The first chapter of the paper gives a theoretical overview of change management and transformational leadership. It further explains the roles that venture capitalists play in the contemporary business space. The second chapter gives an overview of the case study with a focus on strategic management analysis, financial performance analysis, and the problems of the Virgin Group management. The third chapter describes research findings, ways of problem solving, and further research opportunities.
