The Impact of the Capital Structure on the Profitability of a Company in the IT Industry

Nowadays, IT companies take major role on international business area international business arena due to the overwhelming digital globalization, thus it is still important to analysis the factors affecting its financial position. However, the impact of the capital structure on the profitability of these companies has not been widely studied. In this regard, the study analyzes the impact of capital components on the profitability of IT companies in order to assess the importance of debt capital in the formation of financial stability. As a test sample, it was decided to study the top 10 IT companies chosen by market capitalization in the period from 2011 to 2019. This work is based on a set of methods consisting of comparative analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis.
