Individual and Society in Jia Zhangke's Films

In the course of this study, the characteristic features of the cinematic style of Jia Zhangke films were revealed. The interpersonal type of relationship is predominant and includes friendships and love relationships. By visualizing the interpersonal relationships of his heroes, filling them with colors and sounds, words and music, building a story about characters from private to general, Jia shows the audience modern China and new types of relationships based on new values.
