In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in ways of decentralised energy supply systems cost optimization. The aim of the study is to identify investment opportunities in energy supply systems in the Arctic zone of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Particular attention is paid to the feasibility of solar energy. Even low power solar installations currently used reduces cost by 20 %.
