How and why Does a Change in Labor Quality Affect Economic Growth in Russia?

Changes in labor composition are an important factor, which affects labor input in growth rates of Russian economy. But the origins of higher contribution to labor quality growth of some groups of workers than the others remain unexplained. Objective of this study is to find an explanation for differentiation of wages in terms of contribution of structural changes in labor composition to economic growth. Mincer regression, which explains wage income as a function of various factors of human capital, can help to find patterns between factors of human capital and input of labor quality to rates of economic growth in Russia in 1995-2015.
