Transformation of the family traditional institution in modern China

The transformation process of the traditional family institution in China has been ongoing since the mid-20th century. A great influence on this process is exerted by many factors, among which are globalization, the introduction of a birth control policy, and the gradual estrangement from Confucian traditions. The main objective of this study is to study the process of transformation of the traditional institution of the family from the 20th century to the present, as well as highlighting the main factors affecting the transformation processes. The author also proves the irreversible nature of such changes.
