Development of female entrepreneurship in Japan: origins, modern trends and possibilities

Female entrepreneurship is an important and relevant subject in modern Japan. In the second part of the XX-century, women replaced the work of housewives to a job in Japanese firms and companies. Due to the lack of high education, they could not promote and have leader positions in careers. This study was aimed to study the development of female entrepreneurship in Japan, its history, current tendencies, and possibilities of progress in this area. The main methods were analysis of origins of Japanese business, its features and stereotypes and researching modern trends of modern entrepreneurship in Japan. Based on the analysis of statistics and surveys were created possible directions development of Japanese female entrepreneurship. Traditional Japanese valuables were changed and this mutated the role of women in society. Now the woman has juridical rights and has a high education, which means that she can develop her career in business and entrepreneurship.
