Shayan Ali Khan and Mariia Khaptcova, master candidates in the program of Management and Analytics for Business, studies the digitalization of jobs in Russia’s job market. Study documents evolution of digital technological transformation of jobs using text mining on publicly available job advertisements – received from NRU HSE IDLab database - which are rarely used as a channel for extracting relevant information about the required skills and, particularly, tasks in a rapidly-changing jobs across professions. Study takes motivation from Autor’s groundbreaking (2003) task-based model and endeavors to empirically test model’s embedded digitalization hypotheses.
