The master's dissertation was completed within the framework of the concept of sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to assess and improve the maturity level of sustainable development projects in the oil and gas industry. In this paper, we study the maturity models used to measure project management, as well as analyze the projects of sustainable development of companies based on the maturity indices and the OPM3 maturity model. The paper considers the features of project management of sustainable development and defines the experience of companies in project management, taking into account the concept of sustainable development in the oil and gas industry. It is based on the study of methods for assessing the maturity of companies, comparing them with each other, on the basis of which a list of differences and features are highlighted. As a result of the work done, it was shown how to use the OPM3 model to determine the level of maturity of sustainable development projects, identify missing processes for increasing the level of maturity, and describe the limitations and disadvantages of the model.
