After 2013 when the leadership of the People's Republic of China changed and Xi Jinping became its chairman, significant changes took place in the organizational structure and in the political landscape of CCP. In this paper, using quantitative methods on a large data set, an attempt to track the dynamics of the political process is restored based on how it is described in two newspaper sources: the central newspaper Renmin Ribao and the provincial newspaper Nanfang Ribao. It also compares the political interests of both newspapers, which indirectly reflect the political struggle within the CCP.
