In this paper, a qualitative comparative analysis (QCA) was made of the traditional right-wing parties of Italy, Germany, Switzerland and France with a view to identifying factors that have a favourable impact on successful participation in electoral races since the financial crisis of 2008. Using the QCA method with crisp-set, the author concluded that conditions such as direct and indirect support of parties by the state, average income of the population, a high percentage of the population with higher education and a high level of confidence in national institutions, as well as a low rate of volatility and a small number of votes for right-wing populists, as the main antagonist for established right-wing forces, were important. Reform of the country 's electoral system is also important, but this indicator cannot fully reflect reality.
