On March 25, 2015, the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia, in which the United Arab Emirates played a significant role from the very beginning, launched a military intervention in Yemen. During the military operation, the KSA and the UAE began to pursue their independent policies in Yemen, relying on different political forces, which signified a split between the allies. Thus, this study is devoted to determining the image of the KSA and the UAE in the Yemeni media affiliated with various political groups. In the framework of the study, the methodological approach of social constructivism will be taken as a basis. During the work, a database of articles on mentions of KSA and the UAE in the Yemeni media was created.
