The Problem of Unrecognized by the Example of Factors of the Frozen Conflict of the Transnistria

Abstract: This work examines the cases of unrecognized states in the post-Soviet space as part of the resolution of territorial conflicts. In particular, the main purpose of the study is to consider the most likely trajectories for the development of the conflict of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic. By identifying and further evaluating a number of factors influencing the development of the conflict, it becomes possible to formulate forecasts regarding the trajectory models of the countries studied. Such unrecognized states as South Ossetia, Nagorno-Karabakh, the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic are taken as the basis.
