Corporate Acts as Sources of Sports Law

The purpose of this study is to create a holistic view of corporate acts as sources of sports law. To achieve this goal it is necessary to solve the following tasks: 1) to analyze regulatory legal acts as sources of sports law; 2) to study the generally recognized principles of international law and international treaties in sport; 3) explore custom as a source of sports law; 4) consider corporate and local acts of sports organizations; 5) to study international sports organizations adopting corporate acts; 6) to analyze the national sports organizations adopting corporate acts; 7) to study corporate acts governing the activities of the association and organizational aspects of sports competitions; 8) to explore corporate acts governing relations in transitions (transfers) of athletes; 9) analyze corporate acts governing the settlement and resolution of sports disputes; 10) to study corporate acts establishing sports responsibility. During the study, the author studied the system of sources of sports law and the place in it of corporate and local acts. The author has studied various views on the position of corporate acts in the system of regulation of sports relations. An analysis was also made of the legal status of international and national sports organizations adopting corporate acts. As a result of the work, the author's classification of corporate acts established by sports organizations was proposed, and the features of each type of corporate acts approved by sports organizations were also disclosed.
