Talent Management in Zoological Park as a Public Sector Organization

Student: Sereda Elizaveta

Supervisor: Anna V. Klimova

Faculty: Faculty of Social Sciences

Educational Programme: Public Administration (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2020

Talent management is becoming a strategic process in public sector organizations. This is due to the growing competition for talent between public and private sector organizations. A clear understanding of what kind of talent the organization needs, what tasks it is involved in, and how the work with this candidate will be structured in the future can be decisive factors of success in the fight for talent. Defining the approach to working with talent and clearly following the principles allows the organization to be competitive and attract promising candidates who can take the organization to a new level. Using the example of the public sector organization of the Novosibirsk zoo named after R. A. Shilo, we determined who is the talent in the organization, what approaches are used in working with talents, and what talent management practices are used in the company.
