By present time the cinema as the kind of art that has produced a broad variety of genres and subgenres, and came close to overcoming genre frameworks. This led to multiplying the number of approaches for analysing and classification of cinematic content. Many studies prove that deep and efficient analysis of cinema is the one based on phenomenology. Relying on the progress that have made Martin Heidegger with his fundamental ontology one may point a great number of questions and perspectives to examine the cinematic art as a way of reflection the current state of society. Before the study we have to confirm the assumption that cinema is the type of art to be considered as more appropriate for such representation. If we still adhere to the genre framework, then we can say that horror will play a major role. Even taking as paradoxical the fact that horror is decided to consider as genre without structure, it is well known that horror is one of the most popular and therefore can be regarded as symptomatic to mass media society. Or we can make a suggestion that the form of cinema which is temporarily extended may be an answer to this question.
