The Normative Status of Logic in Argumentative Theories of Reasoning

The main aim of this work is to find out in what sense logic is normative in relation to The Argumentative Theories of Reasoning. In this paper I consider various concepts proposed by both logicians and cognitive psychologists:The Argumentative Theory of Reasoning by Hugo Mercier and Dan Sperber, A Dialogical Account on Reasoning, the conception of "Bridge Principles", and the approaches of G. Harman, J. Hintikka.
