Educational Programme: Mathematical Methods of Modelling and Computer Technologies (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2020

Parallel file systems are the most popular types of systems installed on high performance computing. The technology for exchanging data between nodes can affect the performance of the entire system HPC. In this research conducted a study of interaction of the cluster at the Faculty of MIEM National Research University "Higher School of Economics" in order to evaluate the effectiveness of Lustre - parallel file system.. For this task, a software module was developed in the Python language, which includes a number of scripts to run and measure the speed of their execution on the cluster. Studies of the results of computer modeling of the machine learning problem on large volumes of data were carried out, the methodology for using TensorFlow and Keras the popular libraries for computing on several graphic accelerators was worked out.
