Constitutional and Legal Bases of Economic Policy

This thesis is devoted to the constitutional and legal bases of economic policy. The aim of the reaserch is to conduct a systematic study of the constitutional and legal bases of economic policy, constitutional principles that directly affect this policy. The relevance of the topic is due to the characteristics of the object of study in the face of negative dynamics in the state of the business environment and the general economic recession in Russia, as well as intersectoral approaches. The thesis demonstrated the key role of constitutional regulation, including its principles, in determining and implementing the economic policy. Moreover, from the perspective of constitutional principles, the author is trying to prove the Importance for the government to establish regulation, which will stimulate economic growth. The author concludes that the constitutional principles of the legal certainty of economic legislation, the importance to maintain a balance of private and public interests, equality, as well as the responsibility of the state for their actions, as interpreted by the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation and the European Court of Human Rights, represent a constitutional legal foundation in building a highly developed market economy and serve as a means of eliminating and preventing the occurrence of a number of economic problems (the absence of economic legislation, insecurity of property, etc.).
