This paper (Migration and Security Challenges in Balochistan: A Policy Approach toward Good Governance) recognizes the possible pressures posed by external migrants in Balochistan, such as Afghan refugees and explores the weak structure of Pakistan immigration policies. A relative analysis of Afghan refugees hosting districts of Balochistan help to detect the social and internal security challenges faced by the locals. This paper also recommends possible reforms of the current policies regarding external migrants. Additionally, the analysis of Afghan migrants hosting districts reveals that modification of governance system in Balochistan, existing migration policies, regulation of national borders, and active organization of security institutions and registration of external migrants may improve the social and internal security of Balochistan.
