This work explores the nature and mechanisms of the functioning of morality and can be attributed to evolutionary ethics. The aim of this work is to prove the thesis that morality is a subsystem of coordination of the social system-society. For the purposes of this work, our own theoretical framework was formed, which combines the theory of systems and functionalism with the apparatus of game theory. Morality is considered on two levels: “group” and “individual”. The concept of justice as an equilibrium solution of Binmore is analyzed and used. A wide range of empirical evidence supporting the theory is presented. The paper also draws normative conclusions following from the naturalistic concept of morality.
