Today modern love and romantic relationships are often described in terms of «emotional capitalism» (Eva Illouz). With the popularity of self–help literature on love and relationships, the prevalence of sex and relationship counseling, the rise of online dating much has changed even since the late–twentieth century. New romantic in modern societies act in the capitalist mode of production and in this paper I show how breakup dating tools connected with neoliberal subjectivity and transform the breakup culture in terms of interpassivity
