Decision-Making Process of the Pupils in the Choice of Educational and Professional Trajectory

This work is a study of the decision-making process by schoolchildren when choosing an educational and professional trajectory. Research question: how is the decision-making process going. Interviews with schoolchildren and students were collected according to the grounded theory strategy. The results of the study showed that the structure of the decision-making process consists of several stages of choice, as well as semantic components. The process is spiral. The work also presents a conceptual diagram and a visual model of the phenomenon being studied. The key models of the decision-making process are described, the main patterns that are characteristic for each of the selection stages are highlighted.
