Year of Graduation: 2020

The ownership structure parameters have been the subject of numerous empirical studies over several decades. Institutional shareholders often hold large stakes in a company, which opens up opportunities to influence important corporate decisions. In turn, these decisions affect the organization's performance. According to many empirical studies, the direction of this influence is ambiguous. At the same time, the problem is not sufficiently studied in the market of countries with economies in transition, as well as in the context of types of institutional owners. The purpose of this work is to analyze the parameters of the ownership structure and determine the influence direction of different institutional owners types on the company's performance.
