Assessment of Developer`s Creditworthiness

According to the recent legislation changes in the construction industry, the usage of customers` money, who buys apartment in an object under construction, is prohibited for a developer until the object is built. That is why, a developer is forced to attract funding from banks and other companies, which, in turn, need to possess an accurate model assessing borrower`s creditworthiness. The research aims to build such a model. In the paper there are definition of the term "company`s creditworthiness"; observation and analysis of factors and models, assessing company`s creditability; review of the recent changes in legislation of construction industry; the process of building a regression model assessing the level of developer`s creditworthiness and its analysis.
