This research aims to reveal how the means of individualisation are protected in the absence of their registration. This research is concentrated on a broad approach to the means of individualisation and examining the ways of protecting them. While the traditional means of individualisation are mainly protected by the intellectual property law, the non-traditional ones neglected by the Civil Code can be protected with other provisions of civil and antitrust law. Findings in the present research will advance knowledge in the area of the means of individualisation and give rise to further research.
