Development of a Digital Twin of the Procurement Process for a Large Commercial Bank Using the Process Mining Methodology

АННОТАЦИЯ В рамках данной работы проводится исследование области цифровых двойников, а также предлагается подход к построению цифрового двойника закупочного процесса крупного коммерческого банка при помощи методологии process mining. Целью работы является разработка основанной на методологии process mining цифровой модели (цифрового двойника) бизнес-процесса закупочной деятельности банка. Объектом исследования является крупный коммерческий банк и его информационные процессы. Предмет исследования – бизнес-процесс закупок, а также подходы к построению цифрового двойника указанного процесса для крупного коммерческого банка. В ходе работы были выполнены следующие задачи: 1. Исследована тематика, связанная с разработкой цифровых двойников для крупных кредитно-финансовых организаций и их роль в процессах цифровой трансформации бизнеса; 2. Исследованы особенности методологии process mining как основы создания цифровых двойников бизнес-процессов организации; 3. Исследован процесс закупочной деятельности и определена его роль в деятельности предприятия; 4. Сформированы требования к цифровой модели бизнес-процесса; 5. Разработана цифровая модель бизнес-процесса закупочной деятельности банка; 6. Построена аналитическая и управленческая отчетность на основании данных цифровой модели бизнес-процесса; Реализованный цифровой двойник процесса позволил выявить несовершенства процесса, а также наладить и упростить отображение текущего фактического состояния закупок, находящихся в работе, и снизить трудозатраты на формирование отчетности по процессу. В рамках развития решения обозначена потребность не только в качественном определении текущего состояния процесса, но и прогнозировании его будущих состояний, в связи с чем в настоящее время проводится реализация пилотного проекта разработки предиктивной модели прогнозирования длительности исполнения закупочной процедуры, описание которой не вошло в рамки данной работы. ANNOTATION In the framework of this work, a study of the field of digital twins is carried out, and an approach to the construction of a digital twin of the procurement process of a large commercial bank using the process mining methodology is proposed. The goal of the work is to develop a digital model (digital twin) of the bank’s procurement business process based on the process mining methodology. The object of the study is a large commercial bank and its information processes. The subject of the study is the procurement business process, as well as approaches to building a digital twin of this process for a large commercial bank. In the course of the work the following tasks were accomplished: 1. The topics related to the development of digital twins for large financial institutions and their role in the processes of digital business transformation have been investigated; 2. The features of the process mining methodology as the basis for creating digital twins of the organization’s business processes have been investigated; 3. The process of procurement activities is investigated and its role in the activities of the enterprise is determined; 4. The requirements for a digital twin of a business process are formed; 5. A digital twin of the business process for the procurement of the bank has been developed; 6. Analytical and managerial reporting was built on the basis of data from a digital twin of a business process; The developed digital twin of the process made it possible to identify imperfections in the process, as well as to establish and simplify the display of the current actual state of purchases and reduce labor costs for reporting creation. As part of the development of the solution, the need is identified not only for a qualitative determination of the current state of the process, but also for predicting its future states, what has led to a pilot project for predicting the duration of the procurement procedure, the description of which was not included in the scope of this work.
