This paper examines the relationship between health and education with the aim of estimating the effect that educational level has on the human’s state of health. The major purpose of the current paper is to look at the issue from an individual’s and country’s point of view and find out how education contributes to health or, conversely, worsens it. Empirical part of the conducted research is based on two major approaches such as using a statistical analysis of Worldbank’s indicators for all countries over the last decade and building regression models of RLMS panel data for Russia from 2009 to 2018 years. On the assumption of our previous investigation, we can suggest a certain of close relationship between education and health indicators. General education is expected to have a positive impact on the health and well-being of countries, while higher levels of education may negatively impact the health status of individuals. With regard to general trends in demography, health and education, the development and progress of humankind we might not see some fundamental differences among all countries. In relation to a person individually, gender and educational attainment will be possible significant factors in determining the educational effect on individual health.
