IT Specialists' Burnout with Different Types of Self Regulation

Changes in the external environment occur so rapidly that an attempt to retire for just a couple of years leads to huge failures in the professional qualifications of specialists in many areas, especially specialists in the IT- field. At the same time, IT technologies are constantly changing so that companies can remain leaders in their segment or at least keep up with competitors during the crisis.And its specialists are forced to constantly learn and assimilate new information in order to always be at the forefront of these changes, in order to remain professionals in their environment. High stress and a significant level of responsibility leads to burnout of IT specialists. The ability to self-regulate is a way to manage the emotional state. which can significantly reduce the level of employee burnout. Goal: to study the theoretical and practical aspects of burnout in IT professionals with different types of self-regulation Object: Emotional burnout of IT professionals Subject: Types of self-regulation A number of methods were used to study the relationship between emotional burnout and self-regulation: Emotional burnout "Diagnostics of emotional burnout" by K. Maslak in Vodopyanova's adaptation. Method "Determination of mental burnout" by A. A. Rukavishnikov Self-regulation Questionnaire "Style of self-regulation of behavior" by V. I. Morosanova Method of local self-government (SSU test) By N. M. Peisakhov Methodology of self-organization of activity (OSD) by E. Y. Mandrikova The influence of growth on emotional burnout was also studied and work engagement was diagnosed using the "work engagement scale" (UWES) questionnaire (Schaufeli, Bakker). Mathematical processing was performed using a statistical program-SPSS (version 23). For statistical processing and analysis of data, methods of descriptive statistics and correlation factor analysis were used. In total, the study included 89 respondents, who were later divided into two groups according to the level of self-regulation. Results In group 1, the relationship between indicators is established : "Psycho Emotional exhaustion" and "Perseverance" (rs= 0.319)," Flexibility "and" Emotional exhaustion "(rs= 0.359)," Depersonalization "and" goal Setting "(rs= 0.356) and" decision Making "and" Emotional exhaustion " (rs= 0.310). In group 2, a relationship was established between the following indicators: Correction and Reduction of personal achievements (rs= 0.322), Modeling and Psycho Emotional exhaustion (rs= 0.337), Flexibility And the index of mental burnout (rs= 0.254). Thus, the relationship between the level of emotional burnout and the components of self-regulation was established in two groups.
