Economic Effects of the Minimum Wage Law

This work is devoted to studying the effect of changes in the minimum wage on some parameters of the labor market. Using panel data characterizing the state of regional labor markets in Russia during the period from 2016 to 2019, we tried to determine how an increase in the minimum wage will affect employment, unemployment, and the general level of wages. The results of the study indicate the negative nature of the consequences of the establishment of the Minimum wage.
