Modern Voting Trends for New Left Parties in Western Europe

The paper investigates current voting trends for extreme left-wing and centre-left parties in Western Europe. The analysis of voting on the “left” political flank in the context of long-term and short-term transformations taking place in this field is presented. Using qualitative comparative analysis, various successful and unsuccessful cases of the development of the extreme left parties in the 2010s are studied.
