Improving the Motivation System for Managers in NMGK

The goal of the master’s thesis is development of proposals on the motivation system enhancement for NMGK Company managerial staff. To achieve this goal, there were set the following tasks: 1) To study determination of motivation, its types and study approaches; 2) To study contemporary practices of motivation enhancement in companies; 3) To study business processes of the staff management service in NMGK Company; 4) To analyze current system of managerial staff motivation of NMGK Company; 5) To develop proposals on the managerial staff motivation enhancement of NMGK Company. The paper consists of 74 pages including 19 pictures, 2 tables, 2 appendixes and a list of 37 literature sources. To conduct the study, literature of foreign and domestic authors on issues in staff motivation matters has been studied and benchmarking study of methods and approaches of modern companies’ staff stimulation has been conducted. Current motivation system of NMGK Company has been diagnosed, its advantages and restrictions have been shown through a complex of methods: collection and analysis of available information about the Company, observations, interviews with departments’ heads and employees. On the basis of received information there were developed proposals on implementation of combined approach of grading system and indexes of bonus awarding on KPI basis, general design of employees’ total compensation, long-term social programs and other actions aimed at labor productivity increase, employees’ loyalty and engagement. Received results are practically significant: they are being implemented in NMGK employees motivation system.
