For several decades, technology parks, along with other instruments of innovative development, have been actively created in the Russian regions. The study of this topic seems important, because technology parks are a complex, complex and relatively new for Russia form of state support for innovative development. Today in Russia there are 169 technology parks in 55 regions of Russia. The state implements various programs to support technology parks and stimulates their occurrence. As part of this study, a theoretical and empirical analysis of the characteristics of technology parks in the Russian Federation was carried out, a register was created containing information on 160 technology parks and more than 2200 resident companies. Using geoinformation analysis, the main national features of the development of technology parks were investigated. An assessment was also made of the effectiveness of state support for technology parks using regression analysis and geoinformation analysis of links. Based on the results of the work, a system of recommendations was developed on the development of Russian technology parks based on an analysis of the development level of Russian technology parks and an assessment of the effectiveness of government support measures.
