The aim of the study was to research the characteristics of family attitudes and interpersonal dependence in people with high and low levels of religiosity. The general hypothesis of the study is: people with a high level of religiosity have a high level of interpersonal dependence combined with more flexible attitudes to family life. Private hypotheses are: the higher the level of religiosity, the more egalitarian, flexible and democratic relationships people demonstrate; the higher the level of religiosity, the higher the level of interpersonal dependency in people. The following methods of research were used in the study: The Questionnaire "Measuring installations in a married couple" (U.E. Alyoshin, 2001); Ego-Differentiation of Self Inventory Questionnaire (DSI) Skowron E.A. & Friedlander M.L., 1998, translated by E.U. Chebotareva (2006); Interpersonal Dependency Inventory Questionnaire by R. M. Hirschfeld (1977) in adaptation by O.P.Makushina (2005); Relationship Profile Test by R.Bornstein (2003) in adaptation by O.P.Makushina (2005); the author's questionnaire on the level of religion. The study has covered 297 people aged 18 to 60 years. Of these: 243 were women and 54 were men. The average age of those interviewed was 36.5 years. As a result of the conducted research, significant differences were found in the parameters of family attitudes with religiosity and in some parameters of interpersonal dependence with religiosity. No significant differences were found in the self-differentiation. As a result of the conducted research, a significant relationship between religiousness and all parameters of family attitudes was found, except for the attitude towards other people. A significant interrelation between religiousness and the parameter of striving for autonomy was found out.
