Much of the current literature on child-parent relationships pays particular attention to the attachment theory. However, to date, few studies have addressed the issue of attachment in people with speech disorders. The specific objective of this study is to reveal a relationship between the style of parent-child relationships and types of attachment, characteristics of relevant relationships with friends or partners. Varga and Stolin’s questionnaire, the semantic differential, and attachment questionnaires are used. This study is an attempt to advance our understanding of people with speech disorders.
