Development of a Methology for Assessment of the Processing and Protection of Personal Data in accordance with European Legislation

The object of research in this work is the administrative and legal regulation of the processing and protection of personal data in Russian companies in accordance with the requirements of European legislation on data protection. The purpose of the work was to develop a set of measures to comply with European legislation in the field of data protection. In the course of the work, the following tasks were solved: • a study of the history of the formation and development of European data protection law, as well as a study of European data protection institutions; • study of the impact of European legislation on Russian companies; • comparison of Russian data protection legislation with European one; • study of the basic requirements of European data protection legislation; • development of a set of measures to comply with European legislation in the field of data protection. The set of measures for compliance with European legislation in the field of data protection, developed as part of the work, includes all the necessary actions that should be taken to comply with the requirements of the GDPR, with the justification for holding certain events.
