Modern political science is increasingly working with new directions from related disciplines. One of these areas is politics and public health. This study focuses on the study of the relationship between regime transformation and immunization in sub-Saharan Africa. Using a model with fixed effects, a relationship was shown between the number of years after regime transformation and the proportion of vaccinated children against pertussis, tetanus, diphtheria (DPT). It was also noted that the level of democracy of the political regime does not have a significant impact on the immunization of the population.
