The current thesis is based on the idea of analyzing the Internet resources visited by users and their content. Based on the results of the analysis, such basic characteristics of users as gender and age category will be predicted. Prediction of sex is a necessary binary classification, prediction of age is multiclass (six categories: 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65+ years). The proposed approach is based on the following hypothesis: according to the history of visits to user websites and their content, it is possible to determine with high accuracy its gender and age category. The necessary studies of the proposed approach to user classification are determined by the needs of the business in improving the quality of such predictions.
