The Settlement of Territorial Dispute in Northern Ireland in Case of Brexit

Northern Ireland was a battlefield in a sectarian conflict for 30 years, called The Troubles. The conflict was solved by agreement between Great Britain and Ireland including rival communities of Northern Ireland, one of the major points was open border between two countries. However, Brexit endangered the agreement because of conflicting demands on border. This paper analyses possible solutions to the dispute over border. This will include finding several scenarios which actors can follow, situation analysis, where actors strengthen their positions and game, where actors find the most pleasant outcome for them and combining preferred strategies the most possible solution is found out.
