The Culture of Consumption of Paid Video Content by Young People in Russia

The present study aims to find out the reasons for the low consumption of paid video content in Russia by young people. A very limited amount of researches on the consumption of video on demand, video streaming services exists, especially about the consumption in the Russian Federation. The industry of online distribution of video is less than 15 years old and it has already become very popular in the USA, but it is still not popular in Russia despite the same conditions. Using the online poll among young people from Moscow, it is expected to define the main causes of low-level development of this business in Russia.
