Promotion of the Restaurant’s Business with the Help of Digital Tools

In the final qualification work, the current methods of restaurant promotion are considered. The first chapter discusses the basic concepts of the restaurant business, the history of restaurant promotion and their classification. The second chapter discusses the main digital tools for promoting the restaurant business: website, online publications, social networks, opinion leaders and influencers, independent evaluation services. The third chapter describes such research methods as conducting expert interviews with restaurateurs, PR-managers and food bloggers; comparative analysis of digital tools, and web-sites of the “Novikov Group” and “Teremok”. As part of the case study, a swot analysis of the “Teremok” and two “Novikov Group” restaurants, Syrovarnya, and Farsh were carried out. Thus, as a result of the study, the work of domestic and foreign authors, modern approaches to the digital promotion of restaurants were reviewed, as well as the crisis situation in the restaurant business, losses, and recommendations were formulated. Both hypotheses are confirmed. The client really responds positively to new communication tools, which ensures the promotion of the restaurant business. During the crisis period, priority is given to online promotion tools.
