The Estimation of Social Cost of Carbon on the Example of Russia

The main objective of the work was to assess in monetary terms the damage from the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The work focuses on the damage to GDP from rising temperatures, which occurs due to carbon dioxide emissions. scientific novelty consists in a new calculation of damage approach, as well as methods for predicting average temperatures and further damage. In the course of the work, it was found that GDP does not lose in growth rates from rising average temperatures, but receives benefits, and the damage / benefit indicator turned out to be similar to that of other authors.
